Story
This September, I’m taking on the challenge of a lifetime: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro — the highest peak in Africa — to raise funds for Prevent Breast Cancer, a cause that couldn’t be closer to my heart.
I’ve devoted my career to this incredible charity because I truly believe in a future where breast cancer can be prevented entirely. While I haven’t personally been affected by the disease, far too many people I know and care about have — and that’s what drives me every single day.
Prevent Breast Cancer is in my DNA. It’s part of who I am. But I’ve realised it’s not enough just to champion the cause professionally — I want to put on my fundraising hat and step up personally, too.
This climb isn’t just about reaching the summit. It’s about pushing myself out of my comfort zone, challenging my limits, and reminding myself of what really matters in life. I believe these kinds of experiences are life-affirming and life-changing — they help us face our own fears, reflect deeply, and come back stronger.
So if you believe in the power of prevention, in supporting pioneering research, and in a future free from breast cancer — please support me. Every donation, big or small, will help us get closer to that future.
