Supporting Myeloma Research and Hope for the Future

In July 2025, we said goodbye to my beloved Mum, Jayne Mary Collins— a truly remarkable woman whose kindness, strength, and determination touched so many lives.

She was diagnosed with myeloma in December 2021 and faced every challenge with courage, grace, and her trademark smile. Throughout her 3½-year journey, she never stopped thinking of others. Even while undergoing treatment, she dedicated her time and energy to raising funds and awareness for this incredible charity — organising cake sales, raffles, and challenges to support vital research and help other families going through the same battle.

In her memory, we have promised to continue her amazing work — to keep fundraising so that one day, there will be a cure for this incurable disease.

To honour her legacy, The Red Lion Hotel has kindly offered to host a special evening on 12th December, with food, music and a raffle — a night filled with warmth, laughter, and love, just as she would have wanted.
