Climbing the Three Peaks in 2023 (Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike) · 27 May 2023
As many of you know we had quite a year last year following my diagnosis with Breast Cancer. It was by accident that I saw a poster for 5k Your Way whilst I was waiting for chemo one day and by the time I'd left I'd messaged a few friends to ask whether they'd come with me. 5k Your Way has been so inspirational in helping me access exercise during my cancer treatment and what better way to exercise than with other people who have had similar experiences. An incredibly supportive community for which I'm very grateful. And so I'd be very grateful if you'd like to support this charity as it continues to grow and continues to support more people across the country living with and beyond cancer. To raise money Rick, Emma, Jamie and I will be climbing the Three Peaks, Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon (no not in 24 hours, sorry!!), two during May half term and then Snowdon in July 2023. I'm only hoping I'll be fit enough. We are hoping to be accompanied by fantastic friends. Thank you in anticipation for any sponsorship, it can only help to motivate us to get to the top!!
The charity itself says.....
Being diagnosed with cancer means people face an extremely tough journey. There is so much thrown at you both physically and mentally during treatment and it doesn’t just stop there.
