Graham and Chloes fundraiser for Rosemere Cancer Foundation

Nikki Sims is raising money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation

Pier to Pier Walk · 9 August 2026

Rosemere Cancer Foundation supports world-class care for the 70,000 people in Lancashire and South Cumbria currently living with cancer, by funding cutting-edge equipment, research, training, and patient welfare projects to make their cancer journey more effective, comfortable and stress-free.

Story

In May 2024 I was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer and had a partial femur and hip replacment then radiotherapy followed by immunotherapy all this coupled with monthly checkups scans and close care all delivered by the rosemere cancer centre in preston.

Ive wanted to raise some money for Rosemere for a while but my physical challenges mean I struggle with most day to day things let alone challenging myself until now.

On 4th June 2026 rosemere will be holding a charity event where I think I will be able to acheive something to help raise money for them and Chloe is going to join me.

As a Dad one of the most painful things in this world is stepping on lego, so im going to leave that one to chloe and I will be walking on glass instead

Please help us raise money for this amazing cause
