Story
On 28th March Nina and her son Freddy will parachute jump from 13,000 ft to raise money for The Mitchy Foundation.
In the UK around 100,000 hospital admissions each year are due to heart attacks. The Mitchy Foundation is a new charity focused on preventing sudden heart attacks and cardiovascular disease.
They provide a unique service organising pop-up screening days across the UK offering full cardiovascular risk assessments completely free of charge. Their focus is to uncover any abnormalities before it's too late.
The Mitchy Foundation was set up last year as Freddy's friend Bobby lost his dad Mitchy to a sudden heart attack. Bobby has used this as motivation to prevent other families losing loved ones.
Since setting up the charity they have successfully run three pop-up screenings testing over 60 people. The goal is to help The Mitchy Foundation launch more pop-up days, screen more hearts and save more lives. On average, £25 will fund one full cardiovascular screening appointment.
Please give what you can to help their cause!!!
