Story
I am abseiling from the Palazzo Tower to raise money for Together Dementia Support (TDS). TDS help people to live positively with dementia in Manchester and Trafford. Over the course of 2024, they have worked with hundreds of people living with dementia and their carers, enabling them to live actively, socially and positively, with support for both people living with dementia and their loved ones.
They have provided invaluable support to my Dad Werner and myself. Our lives changed once we got in touch with them. Being a caregiver, especially for someone living with dementia, can be really tough. The support from TDS made this journey a lot easier and my Dad had lots of fun at their social events. They are an incredible charity and I hope you will support them.
This is the most nerve-wracking thing I’ve ever done and I'm already terrified! :)
Learn more about the support they offer for people living with dementia, their carers and their families on their website, www.togetherdementiasupport.org, or give them a call on 0161 226 7186 to have a chat with a Dementia Support Co-ordinator.
