Oh my god! I’m doing Strictly (Northampton)!

Now, anyone who knows me knows I normally have my head stuck down into a laptop screen working, or with a glass of vino in my hand socialising! But, last year, I experienced extreme health challenges. Challenges which caused my life to come to an abrupt hault.

By chance, I found some magical super powers in the simple act of dancing around like crazy to music at my local Zumba classes… My recovery was exponential!

Dancing is an incredible way to bring being vitality into one’s life. It helped me stand on my own two feet, so to speak! I would now love to raise money for others who need help by dancing at this years Strictly Northampton dance competition… I feel very lucky and humbled to be given this chance to share my experience and raise money with the hope that even if it helps one person… it’ll all be worth it.

This year we are raising money for the local air ambulance. The air ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery. Within minutes, our critical care crews can be on the ground delivering pre-hospital critical care and giving patients the very best chance of survival – this vital service relies entirely on donations to raise the £2,300 needed for each rescue mission, as the charity receives no government or National Lottery funding.

I’ll be dancing my socks off as I learn the routines ready to perform at the Royal & Derngate Theatre, 16th November 2024. In the meantime please feel free to support me (to be honest to make sure I do it!) by donating as much as your heart desires.
