FSIS are fundraising to replace the broken play equipment in the playground.

Southwood Infant School is a small, vibrant and nurturing community dedicated to early childhood development. Located in Southwood Village, a welcoming neighbourhood, the school provides a safe and stimulating environment where all children can thrive.
In partnership with FSIS (Friends of Southwood Infant School), we are urgently seeking to raise £5,000 (out of a total £25,000) to help our school replace the beloved trim trail in our playground.
The current trim trail, adored by our pupils, is unfortunately deteriorating. The wooden posts are rotting and will soon need to be closed. Despite numerous repairs over the years, it is now essential to replace the entire trim trail.
This trim trail is a vital part of our pupils' daily routine, used during lunch and break times. It provides them with opportunities to climb, walk, balance, and swing which are all activities crucial for their physical development. Sadly, some sections are now off-limits, and we desperately need your support to raise the necessary funds to supplement the school budget and replace this cherished playground feature.
Without the required funding, we cannot finalise a design, but here are some examples of what the new trim trail could look like. Your contribution will make a significant difference to the lives of our children, ensuring they continue to have a safe and engaging space to play and grow. Please help us bring this essential project to life!
