I’m taking part in the 2027 Manchester marathon to raise money and awareness for care leavers. Care leavers can face so many challenges when leaving care and having to become independent at a young age.

As someone who is care experienced, I’ve experienced some of these challenges firsthand, which makes this cause especially important to me.

The statistics are also really concerning, with care leavers facing a much higher risk of death and poor outcomes. I’d really appreciate any donations, no matter how big or small to help raise awareness and support other care leavers.
