Story
This winter, KW1 Swimmers are holding a winter dipping challenge to promote getting out there during the dark, cold months with your friends to help your wellbeing whilst also raising vital funds for the Wick RNLI.
The challenge is to dip once a week for 12 weeks from 1 December 2024 to 23 February 2025, with some fun challenges along the way 😁.
We are asking for a minimum pledge of £20 for those who would like to take part, all of which will go straight to Wick RNLI. For this, you will receive a special bag of goodies at the end of the challenge.
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. More than ever people need the help of the RNLI but too many people are still drowning.
This needs to change and thanks to your help, it can.
Wick lifeboat station is crewed by volunteers, who provide a 24 hour search and rescue service. We rely on the support of our local communities to power our lifesaving service. Your support will help the running of lifeboat stations like Wick and, ultimately, help to save lives.
