Story
On 5th December 2025, a group of NLCS students and staff will be sleeping out for one night in central London to raise money for RESTART Lives.
RESTART Lives empowers homeless people across London by supporting their physical and mental health and helping them find permanent housing and employment. For example, they run a weekly drop-in session at St Columba’s Church in Knightsbridge, which is where we will be sleeping out, and they also provide wellbeing programmes.
By sleeping on the street for one night, we hope to raise awareness of homelessness in London and raise money for RESTART Lives’ important work. Approximately 1 in 50 people in London are homeless, meaning they do not have access to the warmth, shelter and security which we so often take for granted. Therefore, we would love to raise as much money as possible for RESTART Lives so that we can help homeless people get the support and safety that they deserve.
We are truly grateful for any donations to support RESTART Lives’ cause.
