No Borders Solidarity Walk, Whitehead 2023, 22 April 2023
At PC4R we provide the vital resource of communication and connectivity to refugees and displaced people in Europe and beyond.

Story

On the 22nd of April 2023, we will be walking from Whitehead to Blackhead Lighthouse to raise awareness and show solidarity with refugees and displaced people. The walk is a chance to meet like minded people, have fun, get some exercise and see the beautiful Northern Irish countryside. Please sign up on our eventbrite page : https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/no-borders-solidarity-walk-whitehead-2023-tickets-580774280507 if you would like to join us.

As part of this event we are fundraising for Phone Credit for Refugees. Phone credit is an essential way of keeping people in vulnerable situations connected and safe. Phone Credit for Refugees provides the vital resource of communication and connectivity to refugees and displaced people in Europe, and beyond, who are in transit, living without secure shelter, or detained against their will. All donations to this important cause are very welcome. You can donate on this page, and/or learn more about their work at: https://www.pc4r.org/

We also want to raise awareness of Larne House Detention centre, and the work of Larne House Visitors Group for those who like to be involved in supporting refugees held in immigration detention here in Northern Ireland.

Whether you donate, walk with us, or just read this far. Thank you.
