Our gorgeous girl, Noa Elizabeth Butler-Laurence, was born on 16th April. 23 weeks old, 17 weeks too early. Miraculously alive.
We had a beautiful day by her incubator telling her about her family, reading her stories and holding her tiny hands. We held her as she passed away in the early hours of Saturday 18th April.
We are devastated and so grateful for the time we had with our girl, and what she taught us in our short time together. A new part of our hearts was unlocked, our lives forever changed.

Lenny's Legacy is an amazing charity supporting bereaved parents across the UK. It is run by Mim and Roy, in loving memory of their two sons Lenny and Bhai who tragically died at different ages and in different circumstances.
They describe themselves as a small charity with a big heart and believe that bringing people with similar experiences together in supportive environments can be really powerful.
Both of us have benefitted from their support over recent weeks. Jo has been supported through a Postpartum After Loss Pilates course. We have both attended hypnotherapy sessions that have brought a deep sense of calm during this painful time. We want to fundraise for them in Noa's memory, to help them reach more bereaved parents.
Raising for Lenny’s Legacy goes a long way….
Pilates: £22.50 pays for one session for someone. £135 pays for a whole 6-week course for one person. £810 would pay for a full course for six people.
Hypnotherapy: £150 pays for one session.
Online support group: £15 pays for someone to attend an online support group.
The charity also run events, offer face to face support in Sheffield, as well as grief coaching.
