On Friday 31st July, the incredibly kind and talented Emma Miles put on a special makeup masterclass for 50 of our family members and friends. The event brought everyone together to support Noah and raise vital funds towards his ongoing care.

Noah has Niemann-Pick Disease Type C1 (NPC1), a severe, progressive and life-limiting condition affecting his neurological, physical and cognitive functioning. He is entirely dependent on adults for his mobility, communication, feeding and emotional regulation.

The funds raised will help provide essential resources such as specialist seating, mobility equipment, feeding support, regular physiotherapy and adaptations to make Noah’s home safe and accessible. Many of these are unavailable through statutory services or subject to long waiting times, restricted eligibility criteria and limited funding.

We are enormously grateful to Emma for giving her time and expertise, and to all 50 of our family members and friends who attended and supported the event. Their kindness will make a meaningful difference to Noah’s comfort, dignity and quality of life.

Please note that 7.5% of all donations to Tree of Hope in relation to this appeal will be allocated to the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope to cover its core operating costs.

If we raise insufficient funds, or surplus funds, they will be used, if appropriate, to fund support for our child’s needs in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objectives. If, in those circumstances, we are unable to use all or part of the funds for the benefit of our child, any funds that cannot be used will be transferred to be used for the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope.
