Goal for 2024

We are proud to be inclusive and unique, investing in projects that go beyond conventional boundaries. Our strategy involves working alongside community members & leaders who possess invaluable insightsinto the true needs of the region, guiding us in implementing the most effective programs.

Story

Craig and Janine live FT in Gulu, Uganda.

Vision: To alleviate some of the stresses associated with hardship.

Mission: Empowering developing communities to become more sustainable through quality education and community activities.

Values: Collaboration - Belonging - Generosity - Inclusion - Community

Thank you everyone so far who has contributed to this amazing project. Our fundraising goal now stretches throughout 2024 as we phase the building of the nursery school.

As part of our programmes to bring : QUALITY EDUCATION: Offering a pathway for children in developing communities to access quality education, enabling them to realise their full potential and prepare for self-sufficient adulthood within their societies, alongside BUILDING: Constructing infrastructure to provide both personal and professional assistance to our communities, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life.

Early 2024 will see the humble beginnings of planning to build a nursery school in Koc Lii. With around 300 family households and the nearest nursery school over 10km away, many children are unable to start with their education until old enough to walk each day to the nearest school, leaving a huge gap in early education. The community were already having thoughts about starting a nursery school under the mango tree. Working together with the community and leaders, mid 2023 we chatted about the possibility of building a nursery school that aligned with their needs.

Our victory was in securing the land for these potential young learners. As we step into 2024, we start with the practicalities of drilling of a bore hole to provide the school plus surrounding communities with fresh water plus clearing the land ready to break ground where the nursery school will be built.

Constructing a school here in Uganda is a multifaceted endeavour, guided by numerous regulations and standards, offering both challenges and excitement. But, Craig is no stranger to regulations. He’s been building here since 2011 with remarkable achievements. Lets go!

Let's be direct about the impact of your support – although, any contribution, regardless of its size, can make a profound difference! AND, SUPER EXCITING:

We want your creative insights! Share your thoughts on color palettes, help shape the appearance, suggest classroom names, or discuss unique interior design concepts with us as you contribute.

Here’s some suggested opportunities:

Sanitation through a toilet block: £4,000

Protective perimeter fence and security measures: £3,500

Open-air learning environments: £9,000

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing what you have with others, for caring enough and for your willingness to make a difference in the world. Love from Craig and Janine xxxxx
