On 4th May, Becci and I will be taking on HYROX Cardiff to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This challenge means so much more to me than just race day. Over the past year I’ve been on a life-changing weight-loss and fitness journey, and Becci has been there from the very beginning as my personal trainer. What started as training sessions has grown into a friendship, along my journey I have also had the pleasure to be trained by Drew @ DCC.

Taking on HYROX together feels like the perfect way to celebrate how far we’ve both come.

HYROX is one of the toughest fitness events out there, combining running with demanding workouts that will truly test our strength, endurance and determination. We’ll be pushing ourselves every step of the way, knowing we’re doing it for a cause that supports so many people.

We’re raising money for Macmillan because of the incredible work they do supporting people living with cancer and their families. Their care, guidance and compassion make a real difference during some of the hardest times in people’s lives.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean the world to us. Your support will help keep us going through every sled push, wall ball and kilometre on the day — and most importantly, it will help Macmillan continue the amazing work they do.
