Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service's Chief's Challenge relay 2023 · 28 September 2023

Fire Fighters Charity provides care and support to the UK’s fire family. It helps with any health and wellbeing challenges firefighters, control staff, and everyone working in – or retired from – the UK’s fire services, as well as their families, may face - during and after service

Story

From Thursday 28 September to Sunday 1 October 2023, more than 250 fire fighters and fire staff from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service are running an epic relay around all 42 fire stations in the county to raise money for a charity close to our hearts.

This 'Chief's Challenge' will bring every colleague, station and workplace across the service closer to each other and the communities we serve to celebrate our 75th anniversary year and raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Just as our teams are there to help the people of Norfolk every day of the year, The Fire Fighters Charity has been there to support us and our families throughout our history in times of need.

Now is our chance to say thank you. We would like to raise at least £1,000 for the charity through this relay, which starts in Great Yarmouth on Thursday 28 September and finishes at Carrow Jubilee Station in Norwich on Sunday, 1 October.

Any donation you can make, however small, will be appreciated. And please do come out to cheer us on as we pass your local fire station during the challenge!
