Story
This July, I’ll be pushing myself to the limit in the Lake District as part of UCL Team 1 in the UK Challenge 2025 — a three-day endurance adventure filled with mountain running, cycling through rivers, intense orienteering, and brain-busting puzzles.
We're doing it all to raise money for an incredible cause: Onwards & Upwards, a charity dedicated to breaking the cycle of reoffending by training, mentoring, and employing ex-offenders.
I’ve always loved cycling, but running? Not so much. That’s changed — I now run 20–30 minutes every weekday to be able to run more and to get ready for this challenge. Every effort is worth it if it means changing someone’s life for the better.
Please sponsor me and support this life-changing mission.
Every donation helps provide real skills, real jobs, and real second chances.
One of their amazing projects is XO Bikes — a social enterprise where ex-offenders learn to become skilled bicycle mechanics and build better lives. (check out XO Bikes here LINK)
You can check out the amazing work they do using this link, real people – real lives.
Please share this with your friends and family, spread the word and help promote this amazing charity! Onwards & Upwards
P.S. Last year, I completed the London Virtual Marathon, walking 26 miles to raise money for street children in Bolivia.
