We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

For our ‘Norlington’s got you’ 2025 Challenge I am representing Norlington school in climbing Mount Kilimanjaro (June 2025) to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research UK.

Currently, we have two students at our school battling leukemia as well as staff supporting family members who are facing this dreadful disease. Everyone, whether directly or through family and friends, has been touched by cancer. I personally lost my father to Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma a few years ago.

We want to support Cancer Research UK reach its goals. These focus on discovering, detecting, preventing, and treating all forms of cancer, ultimately working to eradicate cancer from all our lives.

We need your help. Donate here, buy a T-shirt (contact the school office) or, if you are a business, sponsor me. We want to raise as much as we can.
