Norman's fundraiser for Stroke Association

Norman IKN is raising money for Stroke Association

Walking the length of Hadrians Wall · 26 May 2025

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Over the course of the summer I will be striding merrily along the length of Hadrian's Wall. As a result of the demands of time this will happen in 10 stages walked over 5 days, 1 per month. Starting on Easter Monday.

We all have charities which are close to our hearts and many many requests for our help from a myriad of great causes.

I hope you can spare a little to help my joint fundraising efforts for SANDS and The Stroke Association. A donation to one or the other would be so gratefully received, but even more so if you could share your support between both.

Every donation will help someone, rebuilding life or an affected family support a victim. please give as generously as you are able.

Thankyou.

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
