Miriam and I, along with some of the family, are walking the 96 miles of the West Highland Way in the first two weeks of July.

Canty Bay has meant so much to me and we thought it would be appropriate to combine this challenge with raising funds for Project 100 to hugely improve the facilites at Canty Bay.

Canty Bay is my spiritual home and it is here that I deepened my life long Christian faith. I am Chairman of the Evans Trust. Project100 is celebrating the 100 years since Canty Bay was purchased and aims to future proof the Scout cottages by adapting them into multipurpose accomodation with improved recreational, sleeping, toilet and shower facilities.This will allow more groups, especially mixed sex groups, to use the Bay which has impacted generations of young people.
