Marc McAleer, our Branch Fundraising Team Leader, suddenly, and unexpectedly, passed away on 27 July 2025.

Marc started the role for the Branch in April 2023 after already supporting his Partner, Paula, who was also a volunteer for the Branch as a Fosterer.

In the short time in his fundraising role he gave 110% to everything he did including running Miles for Moggies two years running and was planning running it again next year. He also encouraged others and was totally selfless. He was also well recognised for the cat ears he always wore to show he was there for the cats in need.

We would like to celebrate him further and ask for donations in his memory to support a cause he enjoyed taking part in and this money will help cats and kittens in the future in his name.
