We’re two brothers taking on a 250‑mile bike ride from North Shields to King’s Lynn to raise money for the West Norfolk Breast Care Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, supported by the amazing local charity Breast of Friends.

This cause means a great deal to our family. Andrew’s partner was diagnosed with breast cancer 20 years ago. Thanks to early detection, expert treatment, and the compassion of the breast care team, she made a full recovery. We’ve never forgotten the care she received, and this ride is our way of saying thank you for the support that helped her through one of the hardest chapters of her life.

Breast of Friends was founded by women who have been through breast cancer themselves and wanted to give something back. Today, they help provide comfort items, specialist equipment, and practical support for patients at QEH.

Their work is entirely volunteer‑led and focused on supporting local people facing breast cancer with compassion, understanding, and real, practical help.

By taking on this 250‑mile challenge, we want to help them continue that mission. Every mile we pedal is for someone facing breast cancer today, and every donation helps the Breast Care Unit and Breast of Friends continue their vital work.
