We are raising money for Hillingdon Women's Centre, a charity nominated, and voted on by all our staff. It is a charity that provides a vital service in the area where our office is, and we are delighted to be supporting them.

The challenge we have set ourselves is to cover enough distance between the North South Staff in a single month to reach one of our winery partners - Santa Tresa in Sicily. This will be done individually and we will aggregate the distance. Some will walk, some will run, some will cycle, one will kayak. We won't be taking a direct route though, we will be visiting:

-Champagne Mandois,

-Reh Kendermann in Germany,

-Provence to sample Mirabeau,

-Verona to pop in on Cantina Negrar

-Also Villa Sandi who are just up the road

-Down to Puglia to catch up with Paolo Leo

In total we will cover a whopping 4000km between us.

Hillingdon Women's Centre provide a safe space for women who are in need of support. Their services are inclusive of all women regardless of background, race and sexual identity. Their main services are related to domestic abuse, for those in need of advice and support. They also work with women experiencing mental health difficulties, unemployment, isolation, as well as those needing legal and benefits advice.

They are the only service of its kind in the local community and so offer a holistic approach through sisterhood, empowerment, practical support and advice to enable women to reach their full potential. The framework of their strategy is built upon the theme of ‘Women Enabling Women’ and is constructed around our pillars of Advice, Empowerment, Sisterhood and Opportunity.
