North Walsham Community First Responders (CFR's) respond to medical emergencies, deployed directly by the East of England Ambulance Service Trust 999 Control Centre. We are solely funded by donations and fund raising, and are all volunteers. We have new responders joining the team and are aiming to raise enough funds for each of them to have their own emergency response kit. Each kit costs in the region of £2,500 and includes AED, Pulsox, Kit bag and contents, O2 bag, consumables, full uniform, PPE, Raiser Chair and most importantly an NMA Device on which the calls are received, navigation to the patient and emergency contact.

We are a busy team in an ever growing town and surrounding villages, we aim to offer the best cover we can especially with our nearest A&E being such a distance away, we are dispatched to the highest category of emergencies which can literally be the difference between life and death.
