Belfast Marathon 2025 · 4 May 2025 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

A group of our fantastic Pharmacists from the East Antrim GP Federation have volunteered to take part in the Relay Team of this year's Belfast Marathon on 4th May 2025. They have chosen to run in support of the Stroke Association, following a team member's personal experience with stroke and the invaluable support they received from the charity during their recovery.

The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK dedicated to supporting individuals affected by stroke. Their mission is to prevent stroke, support those who have experienced one, and fund critical research to improve stroke care and outcomes.

As this is a charity close to their hearts, please join with Clare, Ciara, Paul, Mark and Michael as they raise funds to support stroke research, rehabilitation, and the ongoing work to improve stroke recovery. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference and will help make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families affected by stroke.

Thank you for your kindness and support!
