Story
Dear Friends,
Please help us to fundraise to bring a group of young Palestinians to the UK this summer to meet young people here and exchange stories about their lives.
A wonderful opportunity has come up for North Norfolk Amnesty International to be part of a project to host Palestinian teenagers from the West Bank in occupied Palestine during their tour of East Anglia in July 2026. We will have them in Sheringham for three days and want to show them a really good time including beach activities, a trip to the seals at Blakeney Point and a day in Norwich.
The trip is organised by CADFA, the Camden and Abu Dis Friendship Association (see cadfa.org) who are celebrating their twentieth year of organising such trips which can be a life-changing opportunity for teenagers from the West Bank to meet local kids and just have fun without the fear of army control or threat of armed settlers.
The target of £1,600 is the suggested amount for each participating group. It is hoped that this will cover the overall expenses of the trip.
Many thanks on behalf of North Norfolk Amnesty International.
