Meet Magic, a resilient and loving cat who has already faced great hardships. Magic arrived at our Northumbria branch in late March, so severely matted that he could barely move. Thanks to the swift actions of one of our dedicated volunteers, Magic was taken straight to the vets where he was dematted, giving him the freedom to move and feel comfortable again.

However, Magic's journey to recovery took a sudden and worrying turn. After returning to his fosterer's home, Magic became extremely unwell. He stopped eating and was lethargic, prompting another urgent trip to the vets. There, it was discovered that Magic had an alarmingly high temperature, leading to his hospitalisation for fluids and further tests.

Under the careful watch and tender care of our vets, Magic began to show signs of improvement. He was eventually allowed to return home, where he is now recovering under the loving care of his fosterer. While we still don't know the exact cause of Magic's sudden illness, he is now on the road to recovery and receiving the very best care possible.

Magic's treatment has been extensive and costly, amounting to over £1,400. We are reaching out to you, our compassionate community, to help us cover the costs of Magic's medical care. your generous donations will help us to ensure that we can help other cats who need our help.
