Northwich Uke Club have been at the heart of Northwich for 5 years this month. Meeting every week at The Grape and Bean, playing music, building friendships, putting on (and performing at) events for charity, or just as a way to do something fabulous in the community.

The Uke Club is an eclectic mix of people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. We're united in a love for music, but are more likely to be found rocking out to Queen, Blondie, the Foo Fighters and Taylor Swift than George Formby.

The world record attempt for the longest uke jam was set in August 2025 by Southampton Ukulele Jam, who played for a constant (and very impressive) 30 hours, 1 minute and 25 seconds. We're coming for their crown and are aiming to play, as a group, continually for 36 hours.

The attempt will be at Barons Quay. Barons Quay, to those that aren't local to Northwich is our shopping and retail centre, so you're very welcome to come and join in or just cheer us on.

All money raised is going to stay super local, as we've chosen to support Changing Lives Together's Buddying and Befriending scheme who support adults across Cheshire who are experiencing loneliness or social isolation. They believe in one of the most effective and simple solutions - giving people the opportunity to connect and talk. Their aims align with ours perfectly, as we're all about bringing people together.
