I am raising money in honour of a family member who died recently. They lived with more courage than I could ever comprehend, so I have summoned up a tiny bit of the same stuff in the hope of raising money for people going through something similar.

So here we go... If I reach my target of £1,000, I will commit to do something I've always wanted/threatened/been afraid to do: a stand-up comedy performance in public.

Forgive me, I haven't worked out the logistics or the costs. I don't know if I'll be able to perform in person - it might be online. But I'll do something suitably mortifying for all concerned, I promise.

I am raising funds in aid of the MS Society (registered charity numbers 1139257 / SC041990) for general charitable activities. All donations will go to the charity even if the target is not reached by the end date of 10 August 2026 - the only purpose of the target is to morally compel me to embarrass myself! If funds raised exceed the target, the charity will get it all.
