Nottingham Comets is a social basketball club welcoming women of all ages and experience levels who are based in Nottingham and surrounding areas.

Every year the Comets come together for a team charity run to raise money for Central Women's Aid. This year, we will do a 10k team run in support of their amazing charity!

Central Women's Aid is a Nottingham-based charity that supports women and their children who have been subject to domestic violence and abuse. The money raised for this event directly supports Central Women's Aid's efforts, including the providing of temporary accommodation, trauma support and community groups. Sadly, being caught in the cycle of abuse is still reality for too many women. Feel free to read more about Central Women's Aid's services here.

Where? War Memorial in West Bradford to Holme Pierrepont and back

Why? To raise money for Central Women's Aid
