Autism NI have supported me as a mum and supported our entire family while my son awaited assessment (for 4 years) with the ASD team.

Aimee has been a particular godsend and the fact that she provides parents and children practical advice on how to support a child with autism when other services fall short or minimise your child's needs.

Autism NI have an excellent website full of resources and offer a crucial Zoom training which for me was a gamechanger in supporting and connecting with my son more effectively.

As a parent I feel so fortunate that Autism NI provide such meaningful, practical, respect-based support for families and I wanted to show my support of them and their need for funding for a helpline.

So I will be walking for about 5 hours from 7am on 21st September to raise awareness and crucial funds.
