Nova: A Beacon of Hope in North Kensington

Winter is here, and for many in our community, it brings cold, hardship, and tough choices. But with your support, we can turn despair into hope and bring warmth to those who need it most.

A Lifeline for Families

The holidays should be a time of joy, yet many families we work with face impossible decisions—choosing between heating, food, or rent. At Nova, we provide a sanctuary through our Family Programme. Last year, over 900 activities and classes gave more than 1,300 people moments of joy, connection, and respite from daily struggles. Together, we can ensure these vital moments continue.

Stabilising Lives in Crisis

For those on the brink of homelessness or facing dire challenges, Nova’s Information, Advice, and Guidance team provides critical help. In 2023/24 year alone, we held 2,000 sessions to support nearly 500 individuals, helping them stabilise their lives during winter’s harshest moments. Your support helps us provide this critical support when it’s needed most.

Education changes lives. Nova’s Adult Education Programme boasts a 95% success rate, building not just skills, but confidence and community. For hundreds of learners, we’re more than a classroom—we’re a family. Your generosity can help even more people achieve their dreams and feel a sense of belonging.

Our dedicated team of 27 staff and countless volunteers work tirelessly to assist over 2,500 people across more than 15,000 attendances annually. Our work is holistic and many people join a range of programmes. Despite limited resources, we’re proud to deliver award-winning, high-quality services that transform lives. Everything we do is done the Nova way: wrapped up in warmth, respect and care.

How to take part (important)

- You must be 18 years or older to take part.

- Tickets cost £5 each and can be purchased up until 11pm (UK time) Monday, 3rd February 2025.

- You can buy as many tickets as you wish within the total fundraising limit of £20,000 for this raffle.

- Take care when entering the amount. For example: £19 will buy you three raffle tickets (for £15). The remaining £4 will be treated as a donation.

- Gift Aid is not applicable for raffle tickets.

- Raffle draw date is Wednesday, 5th February 2025.

You can do this by either:

We will endeavour to notify all winners within two weeks after the draw date using the name and email address details above.

Terms & Conditions

Please read before purchasing:

** If you do not provide contact details (as described above) and Nova has no reasonable way of contacting you prior to the raffle draw, then you will not be entered in the prize draw. Tickets are non-refundable. **

Prize 1: THE PIG Hotels —an overnight midweek stay at any of THE PIG hotels, including a three course dinner and breakfast for two. Expiry date is 23rd September 2025

Prize 2: Cafe Murano Pastificio — 3-course lunch includes pre-selected drinks options. Expiry date is 5th February 2026.

Prize 3: The Cow — dining voucher can be used in either upstairs or downstairs restaurants. Expiry date is 5th February 2026.

Prize 4: Lyceum Theatre — redeemable for any of the Saturday tour dates shown on the Lyceum website. Expiry date is 31st July 2025.

Prize 5: BMX bike — winner is responsible for collecting their prize from Nova's office, address below. Expiry date is 31st August 2025.

Prize 6: Electric Cinema tickets — redeemable only at Portobello Road site against the Armchair seating. Valid for 1 year post voucher purchase (date to be confirmed at prize notification).

Prize 7: SIRPLUS clothing voucher — redeemable online or in-store. Expiry date is 7th November 2025

Prize 8: Studio_Creator — winner is responsible for collecting their prize from Nova's office, address below. Expiry date is 31st August 2025.
