The Ride+Stride event has been organised by Nottinghamshire Historic Churches Trust (NHCT) annually since 1991. Participants attempt to visit as many churches as possible between 10 am and 6 pm on 12th September by riding (on a bicycle/horse) or striding (walking/running) between them. All sponsorship money raised is shared equally between NHCT (towards the provision of grants for maintaining historic churches in the county) and the participant’s own church.

Last year, I cycled to 41 churches in the central and east Rushcliffe area, raising £1370 (plus GiftAid) for NHCT and St John the Divine, Colston Bassett.

This year but I am hoping to visit a similar number of churches in the central and west Rushcliffe area, and I would greatly value your support in this venture.
