We are holding a walk on Sunday 5th July from Spanish City, Whitley Bay to St Marys Lighthouse (and back!) The Northumberland, Tyne and Wear Support Group are looking to raise funds to enable us to pay for group members to attend the national HD conference in October 2026.

We would suggest an initial donation of £10 and then raise as much as you can for the group through other sponsorship - please note, this money will be solely for the Northumberland, Tyne and Wear Group.

The Huntington's Disease Association supports anyone who is affected by Huntington's disease across England and Wales. We pursue the best possible care; provide training & advice to families and professionals; raise awareness, and promote research towards better treatment and care.

If there are any excess funds left after booking conference tickets, there are three options that we can use them for: Advisory Service, General funds for the charity or towards the volunteer team.
