💚 HYROX DUBLIN 2025 – Raising Funds for Macmillan Cancer Support 💚

This year I’m taking on HYROX Dublin 2025 — but this time, I’m doing it solo!

HYROX combines both running & functional workout stations, where participants run 1km, followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times.

Last year I competed in the Women’s Doubles with my training buddy, Sinead Miller, and at that point, I hadn’t even run more than 600 metres! With training, teamwork, and a lot of sweat, we got there in the end and raised over £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

I promised myself I’d go again — stronger, fitter, and faster — and here I am, holding myself to that promise. 💪

Since January, I’ve stepped up my training:

🏃‍♀️ Joined Motion’s Run Club on Monday nights

🌳 Got stuck into Ormeau Park Runs on Saturdays

🎽 Took part in the Craic 10K and Lagan Side 10K

💪 Increased my strength in the gym and hit new PBs

📸 Even did a fitness photoshoot after dropping 8% body fat

It hasn’t been easy, but I’ve loved every challenge — and it’s all for a cause that really matters.

Macmillan do incredible work supporting people and families affected by cancer. Every pound raised helps them continue providing care, comfort, and compassion when people need it most.

If you can spare anything at all — no matter how small — it would mean the world to me and to those Macmillan helps every day. 💚
