We are nurses united in raising funds for a complex and rare illness, known as Intestinal Failure. The intestine can sometimes be the forgotten organ failure and is often misunderstood, misdiagnosed, and underfunded, leaving many patients and their families feeling lost and unsupported. We see the struggles firsthand and because 'intestinal failure' is not widely recognised, funding for patient support is severely lacking. Care goes beyond the bedside for this condition and donations can provide financial relief for patients, their families and improve their quality of life.
