Harberton North Nurture Unit's Big Walk for NI Chest Heart and Stroke!

Mr Alexander is raising money for Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke

Nurture Big Walk

NICHS is leading the fight against chest, heart and stroke illnesses in NI. We provide support for people affected, and work to prevent these illnesses by delivering health checks and health promotion programmes, funding research and campaigning for improved care, treatment and awareness.

Story

Hi there,

The Nurture Unit in Harberton Special School is aiming to complete a big walk challenge from the 12th of May to the 26th of June.

Last year, we walked 76 kilometres, raising £1,547 for our school. This year, we're pushing ourselves even further. We aim to walk 100 kilometres over 7 weeks, and we want to raise at least £2,000.

We walk each day, joined by classes in both our North and South campuses. Motivating everyone to get out walking to support a great cause.

This year, we're raising money for NI Chest, Heart and Stroke. This is an amazing charity that provides vital care and prevention services to many local communities. There is a personal connection to our school so every penny raised will go directly to them.

We really hope you can spare whatever you can to help us reach our goal, anything at all is greatly appreciated!
