Chiltern 50 Ultra Challenge 2024 · 28 September 2024 ·

We are raising funds to provide FREE eye surgery for people who cannot afford treatment. 10% of Pakistan’s population is blind or visually impaired, which means millions of people cannot work or provide for their families. Help us restore sight!

Story

Imagine a world where 90% of blindness is curable, yet countless individuals lose their sight and ability to provide for themselves and their families simply because they cannot afford treatment.

This is the harsh reality faced by many underprivileged individuals. The Graham Layton Trust is a vital safety net, offering the highest quality medical care completely FREE.

I have witnessed firsthand the impact of this initiative on individuals like Shabbir, who, due to financial constraints, was unable to seek treatment for his deteriorating eyesight. With the opening of an LRBT hospital in his hometown of Rahim Tar Khan, Shabbir received life-changing surgery at no cost and is now able to proudly support his family once again.

His story is just one among millions who have benefited from this invaluable support.

The Chiltern 50 Ultra Challenge 2024 is our opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those in need. Your contribution, no matter how small, can help restore sight and independence to individuals like Shabbir.
