Story
This year, Nutwood is taking on another challenge in support of Lister Hospital. Martin, the owner of Nutwood, along with Harriet, Luke and Polly, will be abseiling down the 11-storey Lister Hospital tower block.
Supporting Lister Hospital is something Nutwood are incredibly passionate about. Every year we organise the Nutwood Toy Run for Lister's children's ward, and last year Nutwood also raised over £800 through the Lister Abseil. This year, we’re hoping to raise even more — although it’s worth mentioning that Martin and Luke are both scared of heights, so this should be very interesting!
While it’s going to be an amazing (and slightly terrifying) experience, the most important reason we’re doing it is to support the local hospital. Lister Hospital provides outstanding care to people in our community every single day.
All funds raised will go to the East & North Hertfordshire Hospitals Charity, who support vital equipment, research and enhancements across the trust, helping patients and their families when they need it most.
The team is feeling a mix of nerves and excitement and would be so grateful for your support. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.
