Nwe Ni's Big Shave for World Child Cancer

My name is Nwe Ni Khaing, and I have been working as a Finance Manager in the Department of Haematology and Cancer at Yangon Children’s Hospital, Myanmar, for 14 years.
Four years ago, I participated in a shaving challenge to support children with cancer and their families. This September, to mark Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I’m excited to take part in this challenge once again.
Each year, over 400,000 children around the world are diagnosed with cancer. While the survival rate in the UK is 80%, it’s only 10% in low-income countries. In support of World Child Cancer and to help close this gap, I’ve pledged to shave my head once we reach our target donation of $1000.
Once the $1,000 goal is reached, not only will I shave my hair, but the total amount will effectively double to $2,000 thanks to the match funding.
I invite everyone to join us in this meaningful campaign. Please click 'Give Now' to make a donation. 🌟
Thank you all for your support! ❤️
