In March of 2025, five of JDJ's youth wheelchair racing athletes left an established team to support their coach. They left a team that helped fund their annual trip to nationals.

Their first year as an established team all 5 of these athletes qualified for Nationals in July. Through the support of JDJ, each racer received a custom racing chair and their next steps is to partner with JDJ to help fund their trip to Grand Rapids and any extra funds to support their team grow.
