Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2021 our world changed forever, our beautiful Nyla was not going to be coming home with us. Every moment, of every single day, we grieve for our girl and we miss her more than words can describe.
When Nyla died, we were able to spend the days that followed in the Serenity Suite. During this time, Piper got to meet her baby sister and we made precious memories as a family that will last a lifetime. The Serenity Suite is a room made especially for bereaved families, enabling them to spend time together without the nearby sound of newborn cries. This suite was funded by a local charity, Forever Stars. They were there for us at a time we needed them most and they continue to be there for us two years on. We will never be able to thank them enough but I am going to start with the below…
Shortly after we lost Nyla, I decided I wanted to do something BIG. So I thought I would cycle John o' Groats to Lands’ End. I was adamant that I wanted to do this on my own. Thankfully, whilst welcoming Alba into the world, I delayed the trip a year and I came to my senses. I asked my good friend Els if he wouldn't mind doing it with me. In typical Els fashion, he didn't hesitate and said "yeah mate."
So the plan is to cycle from John o' Groats to Lands’ End, the first day of cycling being the 29th of July and hoping to get to Lands’ End 11 days and 917 miles later. All bike stuff, accommodation and copious amounts of Haribo will be paid for by Els and myself. Leaving 100% of donations going to Forever Stars.
We plan to document as much as possible on our JOGLE Insta pages. Do follow and chat to us, as I’m sure we’ll need the motivation!

Whatever you can donate, I know first hand that it provides families who have experienced baby loss with amazing support.
Thank you and wish us luck!!
