Story
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
Every year, University Hospitals Birmingham Charity delivers boxes of chocolates to all of our staff who are working over the festive period. It's quite literally my favourite day of our whole year. I love it.
We also ask for people to sponsor the Christmas Trees across our hospitals to help raise vital funds for our Christmas Appeal.
So... me being me, I've decided how can I combine the two.
On 21st December, I will be delivery chocolates to staff across the Queen Elizabeth Hospital site dressed as a Christmas Tree. Every box I hand deliver will be handed over by a Kate-mas Tree. There will be tinsel. There will be lights. I will probably sweat through the costume.
I'm asking for you good people to sponsor me! I'd love to raise as much as a traditional tree sponsorship! Plus if any of you sponsor me the full £1000, I will walk around wearing a "kindly sponsored by" tag, the same as you would get on any other tree!
All the money I raise will go towards our Total Body Scanner Appeal, which is aiming to raise £7.2 million to revolutionise care for our patients across the Midlands and the UK.
