Volunteers' Fundraiser for TAG Pet Rescue

We are a group of 9 volunteers at TAG Pet Rescue. On Sunday 27th September, we are taking on the Roof Walk at the O2 to raise funds for TAG Pet Rescue!

TAG is an independent charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals; pets who need new homes - including those who are abandoned, neglected, & simply left with nowhere else to go. This includes cats, dogs, rabbits, Guinea pigs, birds, hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice & more! 🐱 🐕 🐇 🐦 🐭🐹🐁

We'll be climbing to the top of one of London's most iconic landmarks - The O2 in London - to support a charity that makes a real difference!

We are all very excited to be doing this, but make no mistake - this IS definitely a challenge for each one of us! We shall all be very much outside our comfort zones! 🫢🫣😂

Every pound raised will go towards caring for all of the animals, including: food, veterinary treatment - health checks, vaccinations, & treatment for any ongoing conditions. 🩺🩻💊 As fast as one animal is rehomed, another one is admitted, so empty pens & enclosures are rarely empty for long.

As well as the animals who are cared for at the sanctuary, there are also animals in foster homes, which also involves costs such as food & vet bills. Fostered animals are those such as pregnant cats who need a safe & quiet home environment in which to give birth, very old animals, or those with medical needs who have specific care requirements.

As volunteers at TAG Pet Rescue, we spend our time helping to care for animals who are waiting for their second chance. We see first-hand the difference that rescue work makes, but we also know how much it relies on donations & the kindness of supporters.
