Oaklands Junior School is struggling to afford some of the more unique things we offer, especially as funding is so tight at the moment. We value the specialised additional help we provide for our pupils in overcoming emotional barriers to learning and we need your help in order to keep this valuable support going. Good mental health and wellbeing are so important to everyone and key to a child being in a good place to learn. Many things in life affect wellbeing, including bereavement or other adverse childhood experiences but there can also be other hidden worries/anxieties that overshadow children's abilities to achieve their best. Through the work of our Educational Psychotherapist and our Parent Support Adviser, we are able to provide specialist support/nurture for our children, keeping families involved in the impact of this support too.
Any donation you are able to give will help towards keeping these valuable services going.
If you are able to help, please remember to tick the Gift Aid option if you are eligible, as this gives us and extra 25% to the school at no extra cost to you.
