Due to increasing budget constraints, it is becoming difficult to provide the wide range of resources and materials needed to support school enrichment activities, such as Technology, Art, Craft and Cooking, which form part of our Creative Curriculum. Your contribution will help fund the continued variety and provision of engaging opportunities we are able to offer that ensure children have access to a rich and rewarding education.

Oaklands Schools are incredibly grateful to every parent and carer that supports the school with a voluntary contribution. There is no pressure on any family to make a payment; however, your contribution helps the school to provide a wider variety of learning activities.

This year we are asking parents for a voluntary contribution of £30 per child so that we can supply the wider variety of materials that the children use during the academic year. Should you feel able to donate more, then you would not be limited to this amount, and equally, we will be grateful for whatever help you are able to give us. Every contribution is spent on the children, enabling them to take full advantage of all planned learning activities.

I hope you will agree that creativity is important to our children’s education and with your support we can inspire our young designers of the future with a greater variety of quality tools, materials and learning aids.
