Almost a year ago, on the 5th of November, we lost our dad unexpectedly and our lives changed forever. He was our world, and the hole he’s left is something we’ll never be able to fill.

In these months, my family and I have been supported by YAMS (You Are My Sunshine) in Newarthill. Their bereavement group has given us a safe place to share our grief and help us find our way though one of the most devastating things we have ever encountered. We’ll never be able to thank them enough for what they’ve done and continue to do for us.

I’d always wanted to do a skydive, and as I finally tick it off my bucket list, I thought it would be the perfect chance to raise money for YAMS in memory of my wee daddy. Any donation, big or small, will help them continue their amazing work supporting other families like ours.
