In November 2023, my incredible partner Owain passed away after the most courageous battle with bowel cancer. He never complained and always remained optimistic despite his diagnosis. During his final few months, the amazing team at City Hospice helped ease the burden of his illness. They support so many people in and around Cardiff who are living with a terminal or life limiting condition and their families.

I am raising funds in Obi’s name to help them continue their work so they can support more people like they did us. Ow’s leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion and patience; all things which epitomise the work City Hospice do.

He would also be laughing his head off at the thought of me falling out a plane from 15,000ft.
