George and I have made the questionable decision to take part in The Big QMC Abseil this year!

We’ll be heading to the top of the QMC to take in the breathtaking views across Nottingham… before attempting to appreciate them while contemplating the 100-foot abseil down the side of one of the UK’s tallest hospitals! 😬

We are both doctors at Nottingham University Hospitals — George works in Acute Medicine and I work in Cardiology — so we’ve chosen to raise money for the two departments that mean so much to us.

Every donation to Nottingham Hospitals Charity helps them go above and beyond for patients, families and staff across the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham City Hospital, Nottingham Children’s Hospital and Ropewalk House.

We see first-hand the difference this support can make, so if throwing ourselves off the side of the hospital can help raise a little extra money for our departments, we reckon it’s worth it! ❤️
